Network & Access Protocols
All mirrors listed on this index are subject to rigorous cryptographic validation. We pull the signed mirror list directly from the market's canary. By importing the Torzon Root PGP Key, users can independently verify the digital signature attached to our mirror list. This consensus protocol prevents the propagation of malicious exit nodes or man-in-the-middle attacks.
Access requires the Tor Browser Bundle (latest stable release). For optimal operational security (OpSec), configure the browser's Security Level to Safest. This disables JavaScript globally, mitigating potential de-anonymization vectors. The market is fully functional without JavaScript. We also recommend disabling WebGL and canvas rendering in about:config.
The Tor network frequently experiences distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks. Torzon utilizes a decentralized proof-of-work (PoW) system on the login page to mitigate this. If a specific V3 onion address is unreachable, our system automatically cycles to the next available mirror in the signed pool. Check the "Links" page for real-time uptime status.
Financial Operations
Torzon prioritizes Monero due to its RingCT and stealth address protocols. When depositing XMR, the market generates a unique integrated subaddress linked to your user ID. Funds are detected after 10 confirmations. Unlike Bitcoin, XMR transactions on the blockchain are obfuscated, breaking the link between sender and receiver for external observers.
Upon purchase, funds move to a multisig escrow wallet. The vendor is notified to ship. Funds remain locked until the buyer confirms receipt (Finalize Early allowed for trusted vendors only). If no action is taken by the buyer, the system auto-finalizes the transaction after 14 days. Disputes pause this timer immediately, triggering moderator intervention.
Market commission is fixed at 4% per completed order, deducted from the vendor's payout. Buyers pay no deposit fees, though standard network miner fees apply. Withdrawals are processed in batches (User -> Hot Wallet -> Mixer -> User) and incur a flat network fee dynamically adjusted based on blockchain congestion.
Security & Vendor Protocols
To list products, accounts must upgrade to Vendor status. This requires a non-refundable bond of $300 USD (payable in BTC/XMR). This bond acts as a sybil attack deterrent. Established vendors migrating from other markets (e.g., Archetyp, Recon) may request a bond waiver by verifying their PGP key via a support ticket.
Navigate to User Settings > PGP/Security. Paste your ASCII-armored public key. Once saved, enable "PGP Login". The system will present an encrypted challenge string upon every login attempt. You must decrypt this string using your private key to reveal the authentication token. This is mandatory for all Vendor accounts.
Stealth Mode is a bandwidth-saving and privacy feature for low-latency connections. When enabled in account settings, it strips all base64 image data from listings, serving only text descriptions. This significantly reduces page load times over the Tor network and prevents potential image-based fingerprinting or metadata leaks.
Troubleshooting
For security reasons, PIN codes (used for withdrawals) cannot be reset easily. If you have PGP 2FA enabled, you may request a PIN reset via a signed message to support. Without a PGP key attached to the account, a PIN reset is impossible, and funds may be permanently inaccessible. Always backup your PIN and Mnemonic Seed.
Check the blockchain explorer for confirmations. Bitcoin requires 2 confirmations; Monero requires 10. If the network is congested, this may take longer. Ensure you did not send funds to an expired address (addresses rotate every 7 days). If confirmed on-chain but not in-market, open a ticket with the Transaction ID (TXID) and the receiving address.
Support Desk
If the FAQ does not resolve your technical issue, initiate a secure support ticket. PGP signing is required for account recovery.
